*Channeling with Music*

Music is very personal so you ought to develop your own dictionary with spirit of recorded songs.

You will need the ability to perform a random shuffle and at least 1,000 digitized songs that you know well from different periods of your life and have an emotional resonance with. Any less and spirit won’t have enough to talk to you effectively. You will need new songs as you progress.

First the music must be on shuffle with a good algorithm, I recommend Apple’s iTunes algorithm because many algorithms aren’t good at randomizing. Randomization makes it a little easier for spirit to get past consensus-reality barriers.

Second, you must make clear and frequent requests to whatever you perceive of as ‘highest divine light’ that the communication you receive is accurate and beneficial to you. This is setting access to the channel. Always use discernment with any information you receive.

There are three ways to build your personal dictionary. I used all three for a long time before I felt confident about my channel.

  • Journal while listening to a random version and write down the songs that come up when they play in the context of whatever you are writing about. Over time you will notice a pattern of considerate, kind, and insightful commentary.

  • Ask a question and hit the shuffle button. You must be emotionally clear or at least open to an answer to get anything accurate this way. The most error-prone method initially.

  • Listen to the shuffled music while you do stuff and take note of your inner monologue when the songs first start. Hit the shuffle button when you feel your emotional state has changed to get a more timely impression.

This is very similar to instructions on how to channel with Tarot (archetypes), dream interpretation, or other forms of spirit communication.

I actually kept a spreadsheet of songs with clips from my journal until I started to get a sense of the pattern of communication. It took about three years of charting when different songs came up, and what I was doing, writing, or thinking at the time.
