Spiritual awakening for skeptics

About me.

I have a day job as a scientist with people who, by-and-large would probably escort me out of the building if they knew what I really think about life.

This website is a concession to what-is. People I know keep waking up, and strangers often approach me on the street with metaphysical questions and coaching them through it is taking up an increasing amount of my time. I’ve begun to accept that teaching — or perhaps translating — is a part of my path.

I trained as a Western MD but I don’t treat people clinically. Since my awakening my career seems to have evolved into preventive medicine and bringing more consciousness to science by advising emerging technologies. I currently believe our species has reached a technological turning point where we must become more gentle, self-restrained, and intentional. I do a lot of code-switching between science and psi.

I’m a little bit of an adrenaline junkie but not dangerous. I love rough and tumble sports and travel to unusual locales. Most people feel better after they spend time with me. Someone secular recently told me I was a “little rough around the edges with a heart of gold”. If only they knew :)

I’m like a disco ball. If you met me I’d probably seem sparkly to you but that would likely be a reflection of your best self and someone else might see something else.

I sometimes respond to emails but I’m not a guru because what I teach isn’t about me, its about the material. I am psychic and a physician but I don’t perform readings or give medical advice. My best service is to help resolve the predictable logical blocks arising from a conflict between a scientific education and direct experiences of spiritual awakening.

P.S. Yes it’s a tribute to Orson Scott Card.

I keep a list of my current highest-source material here (it tends to evolve) in order of authority:

If you think you need an embodied teacher I’m pretty selective about who I would recommend.

  • Craig Holliday — for kundalini awakening. Does individual counseling or group therapy. Reasonably priced. Easy to schedule with.

  • Kjarlune Rae — for psychic readings. Does individual meetings, a bit expensive but experienced. Difficult to schedule with.

  • Locke & Demosthenes Quora — you can ask me questions there and I’ll answer. Currently $2.45 a month, and I’ll try to get it within a few days.

  • 30-min consultations — you can book a paid consultation with me but I have to warn you, I’ll answer the way I write. As a teacher I’m succinct, hard to locate, matter-of-fact, and uninterested in dependents. Consultations are for existing students only, your question might already be answered in the advanced materials.
