Agents of Sheild - Joss Whedon

Pretty much any television content influenced by Joss Whedon will have spiritual lessons in it but two of his shows, in particular, have advanced spiritual metaphors. That would be Dollhouse and the “Framework” metaphor in Agents of Shield - Season 4. The storyline of the Framework details different awakening styles and what is required for a spiritual awakening. But you would have to watch the whole series to that point to really appreciate the challenges for each character.
